Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The August 14 game that was rained out between the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 24 at 1:05 p.m. (et) at Progressive Field. The contest will be part of a day/night doubleheader with the evening game set for 7:05 p.m. (et). The rescheduled game means the teams will play a four-game set that weekend.

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians announced the signing of their first-round draft pick, infielder Francisco Lindor, Monday night. Lindor, a switch-hitter, was the eighth overall pick. He hit.528 during his senior season at Montverde (FL) Academy High School with 31 runs scored, six homers, 13 RBI and 20 steals in 21 attempts. The 17-year-old Lindor was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico before moving to the Orlando area when he was 12 years old.
