Anderson, 23, had a short four-game stint with the Cards in April and went 2- for-7 with one run batted in. In 82 games with Memphis this season. Anderson hit 12 homers with 42 RBI while hitting .270.

The 25-year-old Hill hit his first big league homer in his debut on Sunday. It was the only game he appeared in since being recalled from the club's Double-A affiliate in Springfield on August 11.
